Who Am I?

I'm Jonathan Nieto, a web developer living and working in Lima - Perú, but originally from Arequipa, the second bigger city in Perú.
Currently I am an undergraduate student at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). I am in the faculty of Computer Engineering.

Since beginning work I have preferred the open source technology because of its public nature, even though I've worked with private technologies too. Much of my work experience is with the world's most popular and open source web development language: PHP.
I've worked for more than three years in the web development field and I'm the creator of Symfext project, a general purpose extension for the Symfony framework, the best PHP framework around.

My objective is to share the knowledge I find through the fascinating job of a web developer, whilst at the same time being a part of and contributing to the open source community with articles and posts about the best practices and methodologies that I use in my daily work.
